Who is it for?
This treadmill has been equipped with a 5-inch Backlit Display, SpaceSaver Design, Dual CardioGrips and One Touch Controls. But the features that we like better are: its sturdy build, 2.6 commercial horsepower and 22 x 55 inch walking area. It’s not made for someone who wants to do intense workouts; but it can certainly handle the demands of light jogging or walking through your day
What’s included in your membership?
You get access to hundreds of premium workout videos when you purchase the T6.5S treadmill off their website. For around $1/day you can extend this access for up to 20 months (or cancel your membership at any time). You can keep up with the latest workouts by following NordicTrack on Facebook, Twitter and YouTube.
T-Series CardioGrip heart rate monitors
These are wireless sensors that take EKG readings (and incorporate them into your workout) but they also take blood pressure readings. The gloves themselves are well made; they feel like normal leather gloves (although you do need to tighten them around your wrist). The batteries last forever (there’s a little warning that flashes when you need to change it out), and these are hands down the best way to check your Heart Rate during intense workouts. The only downside is that you have to purchase them separately.
Heart Rate Zones
Once your Heart Rate has been detected, the T6.5S treadmill will automatically adjust its speed. It operates in six different zones:
Zone 1: 50-60% of your Maximum Heart Rate Zone 2: 60-70% of your Maximum Heart Rate Zone 3: 70-80% of your Maximum Heart Rate Zone 4: 80-90% of your Maximum Heart Rate [These are best when warming up] Zone 5: 90-100% of your Maximum Heart Rate [This is where most people start their workout] Zone 6: 100+% of your Maximum heart rate [You should not be here unless you’re on a HIIT run]
How it works
NordicTrack has included three USB ports on the front of the T6.5S treadmill, so you can plug in your MP3/iPod player and control it from your display. The fan is strong, but it’s also quiet enough not to distract you while using other programs. The T6.5S offers an On-Board Computer with four preprogrammed workout courses: Manual, Fat Burn Zone Xpress, CardioZone Xpress, and Weight Loss Zone Xpress. And if you want to monitor your heart rate during workouts (and know what zones you’re pushing yourself into) then we suggest that buy one of their Heart Rate gloves (or strap). love the standa

Should you get a dental implant soon? This is probably the first question that pops in your mind when you notice that one of your teeth is already beyond saving. Dental implants might be the best choice to help you preserve your oral health, make you feel confident with your smile all over again, and have peace of mind even if a tooth can no longer be saved.
What we don’t like
The stride length on the NordicTrack T6.5S is not adjustable, so it will be a problem for anyone who is taller than 6 feet. Also, there are no cooling fans attached to the machine (which would have been nice to have). In addition, this treadmill weighs around 200 pounds; that might be manageable for some people – but it could also make moving the treadmill from one part of your home to another an absolute hassle. And one final fact: for a few hundred dollars more you can get a brand name treadmill with similar specs and a larger walking area (i.e. ProForm Crosswalk 390 – which also includes a 2-HP motor)..
If you find that the NordicTrack T6.5S treadmill is too heavy for you to move around your house, then consider buying an in home gym. It will save you money (and time) by allowing you to cut out transportation costs and making sure that your equipment does not go missing when your not watching it
Bottom line
This treadmill offers an excellent value; it has a sturdy build, 2.6 commercial horsepower, 22 x 55-inch walking area, and a standa when choosing between the NordicTrack T6.5S vs ProForm Crosswalk 390 (or any other model), we recommend that consumers choose based on their price range and how they plan to use the machine . If $1/day is difficult for you to afford (and you don’t plan on using the treadmill too often) then we suggest that you buy the T6.5S; for anything else, we recommend that consumers spend their money elsewhere.
